Oil/Water Separators

The IWR Technologies Separator is a gravity-based system that removes non-emulsified oil from wastewater by exploiting the density difference between oil and water, allowing oil droplets to coalesce and rise for surface collection and removal on a continuous or batch basis. Processed water is discharged at a rate matching the influent to maintain stable liquid levels. Its efficiency and capacity depend on the oil’s rise rate and available surface area, enhanced by a coalescing media pack that maximizes separation efficiency within a compact design.

Clay and Carbon Vessels

The IWR PV granular activated carbon (GAC) media vessel is a durable carbon steel unit with domed ends, epoxy-coated interior for chemical resistance, and a removable top lid for easy carbon replacement. Designed to handle operating pressures up to 50 psi, it out performs fiberglass or plastic vessels that are prone to cracking under such conditions. Available in standard sizes of 90 kg, 180 kg, 450 kg, and 900 kg, the IWR PV vessel offers superior strength, longevity, and ease of service compared to modified pool-type filtration systems.

Clarifiers

The Lamella Plate Clarifier efficiently removes suspended solids from water using FRP Lamella Plates layered within a mild steel tank to increase surface area for enhanced sedimentation. Can be equipped with chemical injection, flow meter, static and tank mixers, and a control panel. The clarifier allows suspended solids to settle onto the plates and drop into the sludge hopper, where they are discharged for disposal or further treatment. The compact design maximizes solids removal while saving space compared to conventional tanks.

Air Strippers

The IWR Low-profile air strippers are compact, efficient systems designed to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other contaminants from water through air stripping. They use a series of shallow trays or packing media to maximize air-water contact, allowing contaminants to transfer from the liquid phase to the air stream. Their low vertical design makes them ideal for installations with height restrictions, while maintaining high removal efficiency, low maintenance requirements, and reliable performance.
